As many of you know, I was away last year. I spent a wonderful summer in Greece visiting family and then started an adventure with my two children. We lived in a small town in the South of France for three whole months! My kids went to school while we were there and had to do all of their work in French. It was quite an adjustment. It was an excellent experience because we were able to immerse ourselves in French language and culture and that is the BEST way to practice a language!
I know that not everyone has that kind of opportunity but I hope that if you ever get the chance to live in a foreign culture, do it!
